URGENT VACANCY: SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER 🚨

Academics Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager to work at a Calder Valley school, starting immediately. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity with the potential for extension beyond Easter for the right candidate.

The Role:

Oversee the school's financial management, budgeting, and forecasting

Manage HR processes, including staff contracts and payroll liaison

Lead on premises, health & safety, and compliance

Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with operational management

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a School Business Manager or in a similar role

Strong financial and organisational skills

Knowledge of school finance systems and procedures

Ability to start immediately

Professional, proactive, and adaptable
