SIS is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join a brand-new complex service in Macclesfield. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in a bespoke, high-quality care environment.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Support individuals with complex and enhanced mental health needs
  • Proactively manage challenging behaviours, including those linked to forensic backgrounds
  • Promote independence using a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach
  • Help individuals develop essential life skills in a safe, supportive environment

Flexible working options are available, including day shifts, night shifts, part-time, and bank hours.

About the Service

This service supports individuals transitioning from long-term placements in secure settings, rehabilitation units, and forensic environments. For many, this will be their first step towards semi-independent living.

While the role can be challenging, it offers a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference—helping people rebuild their independence and quality of life within a supportive team setting.

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
  • A genuine passion for making a difference
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, and adaptable individuals
  • Creativity and initiative within a care setting

This role is subject to safer recruitment processes, including an enhanced DBS check.
