A well-respected and welcoming primary school in Epsom, Surrey is looking to appoint a passionate and skilled Year 3 Class Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. About the Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will lead a class of eager learners through a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering effective and differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Using assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

Person Specification

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reflective teacher with a strong commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.

Essential criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3

A thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment processes

Effective behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Commitment to continuous professional development
