Dovetail and Slate are currently working with an excellent college who are looking for a Health and Social Care and Early Years Lecturer to join their department on a full time basis.

Role: Health and Social Care and Early Years Lecturer

Location: Wigan

Contract: Permanent, 5 days per week

Hours: 37 hours a week mon-thurs- 8:30-5:30, fri- 8:30- 4:30pm

Salary: £28,000- £38,000 (dependent on experience)

What you'll need:

A relevent teaching qualififcation
NVQ level 3 in Early years (or equivelent)
NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivelent)
Experience teaching either two or both sectors
Experience in delivering education to learners from various levels, including 16-18 and adult learners
desirable- First hand experience in a care sector

As a Health and Social Care and Early Years Lecturer you will be expected to...

Lead- Innovate, develop, implement, and organize designated courses and programs within the Health & Social Care and Early Years Department.

Teach- Deliver instruction across various programs, such as BTEC Nationals, CACHE, and T Levels, covering topics in Health, Early Years, and Assisting Teaching.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures and providing support in resource management to maintain educational standards.

Creating Engaging Learning Environments: Building dynamic and stimulating learning environments that encourage creativity and critical thinking among students.
