Warehouse Operative (Loading and Unloading Containers) – Northampton, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Shifts      
•  Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:00

Day-to-Day Duties      
•  Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks      
•  Heavy lifting – pushing and pulling heavy cages      
•  Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch      
•  Loading and unloading vehicles safely      
•  Moving and organising stock within the warehouse      
•  Ensuring items are stored safely and correctly      
•  Following all health and safety guidelines      
•  Using handheld scanners and other equipment as required      
•  Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

Essential Skills      
•  Basic level of spoken and written English      
•  Reliable and punctual      
•  Good communication skills      
•  Able to work well as part of a team      
•  Positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience      
•  Previous warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential)      
•  Experience using handheld scanners or similar equipment

Training Provided      
•  Full training provided with ongoing support
