Reed FE are working with a College in Cambridge and are seeking a Lecturer - Technical Construction to join their Built Environment team. • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Technical Construction and related subjects across various levels, including BTEC and HE courses.
• Develop and update course materials in line with current industry standards and educational guidelines.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning objectives.
• Participate in curriculum development meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and materials.
• Engage with industry professionals to keep course content relevant and up-to-date.
• Support students through academic advising and career guidance.

• Minimum of a Level 5 qualification or degree in Construction or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design area of the construction industry.
• Strong passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to undertake further training to enhance teaching practice, including teacher training qualifications funded by the college.
