C# .NET Developer / Software Developer | Salary: c£35k–£50k Dependant on experience Location: Caerphilly area – hybrid working

We have an exciting opportunity for a C# .NET Developer / Software Developer to join a well-established and growing technology organisation.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a bespoke internal C#/.NET application that supports key operational and production processes across the business. The system is already live, well-built and widely used, and is now entering its next phase of development with plans to evolve into a commercial product for external customers.

This position would suit either an ambitious graduate or junior developer looking for real ownership early in their career, or an experienced C#/.NET Developer seeking a role with autonomy and long-term progression.

We are keen to hear from candidates working as C# Developer, .NET Developer, Software Engineer, Junior Developer, Graduate Developer or similar.

C# .NET Developer experience requirements:

• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6/7/8 or above)
• Understanding of SQL Server or relational databases
• Experience using Visual Studio or similar development tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience with Git or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to deployment or CI/CD processes
• Experience working on internal or business systems

The role:

• Taking ownership of a bespoke C#/.NET application platform
• Developing new features and enhancements
• Maintaining system performance, reliability and stability
• Providing occasional support and troubleshooting (approx. 20%)
• Working with internal stakeholders to gather requirements
• Supporting the evolution of the system into a commercial product
