Prime Appointments has a well-established and continually growing Technical & Engineering team within its business based in Witham. We have an ever-expanding client base, and you will be joining a very busy desk with very diverse daily activities and hit the floor running!

This role is a 40-hour Monday - Friday working week, working hours between the times of 8.30am and 5.00pm, the base salary for this position is between £24,000 - £26,000 plus commission on target earnings of between £30 - £35k by end of first 12 -18 months. However, this is uncapped, so potential to do far better!

Duties:

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be working to KPI's, liaising with clients, establishing, and managing client relationships and offering the best customer service possible.
Recruiting for positions from Production Managers, Maintenance Engineers to CAD Design Technicians all on permanent basis
Carry out searches for candidates on varied job boards and using Boolean searches and then screening staff
Consulting with clients to ascertain full job specification giving advice on salaries
Screening candidates against client specifications
Negotiating fees with clients
Communicating with clients and candidates to arrange interviews
Providing feedback at regular intervals offering best customer service
Maintain communication with all parties during on boarding process
Offering advice to clients including salary bench marking
Meeting current clients on face-to-face basis to understand their business setup and job requirements
Providing information on current recruitment trends, legislation & compliance
Contacting clients to see if we can help with different job typesExperience required:

As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will have EXCELLENT communication, time management and organisational skills, motivation, and genuine desire to succeed, a proactive attitude is essential
Confidence to pick up the phone & speak to anyone
Good team player as you will be working in a small team of 3 staff
Ideally educated to 'A' level standard
Experience within Recruitment Consultancy beneficial but not essential. Benefits:
