Kforce has a client in Chantilly, VA that is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager. Summary: Technical Delivery Manager will provide a leading role in setting performance expectations and monitoring project progress as it pertains to software development. The Technical Delivery Manager is comfortable interacting with Business, IT Development Operations, and Quality Assurance team members, and will know how to set the bar high and not only achieve that goal yourself - but bring others along with you. The Technical Delivery Manager will get the "big" picture and want to contribute accordingly - and that's why they will have all the opportunity for career growth within our company. The Technical Delivery Manager will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and this role is key to the success of our company. Responsibilities:
  • Technical Delivery Manager will be managing and influencing the work effort of software development teams in the delivery of assigned projects and programs
  • Providing accurate planning, metrics reporting, and status of technical deliverables, including risks, to leadership
  • Overseeing multiple projects and development teams to ensure that goals are met
  • Technical Delivery Manager will be using deep technical knowledge to identify, manage, and troubleshoot potential issues and roadblocks
  • Making hands-on positive impact on overall software delivery, working with teams on a daily basis to ensure delivery is staying on track
  • Setting performance direction and monitoring progress and deliverables
  • Technical Delivery Manager will be seeking out opportunities in our day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment

Job Requirements:


  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • 10+ years of combined technical experience (application development) and managing people and projects
  • 5+ years of strong technical experience
  • Effective communication, strong leadership, and exceptional problem-solving abilities
