Electrical Operations Manager - Solar Energy (North West)

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum + Company Van + Additional Benefits

A leading solar energy company in the North West is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician with strong expertise and experience in electrical and solar installations

• 18th Edition certification

• Valid Gold Card

• Solar-specific qualification (advantageous)

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong operational capability, with the ability to work both on-site and strategically

• Available to start in January 2026

Role Overview:

In this role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the operational oversight of all solar installation activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Duties are divided evenly between on-site installations and supervision and office-based support. Within the first six months, you will establish and expand the installation team, with the potential to transition away from hands-on duties thereafter. The position requires regular travel throughout the North West region.
