Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and keeping production running smoothly? Looking for a strong multi-skilled engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team, someone who thrives on challenges, takes pride in their work, and drives continuous improvement.

The Role
As a key member of the engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring all production machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards through both preventative and reactive maintenance. You'll play a vital part in improving plant reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing projects to enhance efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production disruption.
* Undertake fault finding and root cause analysis on complex equipment.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, implementing engineering solutions to enhance reliability and performance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and support the engineering team with long-term maintenance planning.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, following company procedures and safety standards.

Skills & Experience
* Time-served or qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Apprenticeship)or EQUILVANT
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong multi-skilled background with the ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Experience with PPMs, fault diagnosis, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives is highly desirable.
* A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork
