My clients independent, director-led Accountancy practice works with business owners and directors at every stage of their business lives, from start-up through to growth and consolidation and on to succession and exit strategies. They also advise clients on personal financial and tax planning issues, to help them achieve security and peace of mind, now and for the future, for themselves and their families.
My client have an opportunity for an apprentice to join the corporate team in a corporate tax specialism.

The Work:

My client will support you to develop skills and gain experience in the compliance aspects as well offering advice on specific projects. As you gain experience, you will continue to take on more responsibility.

The Training:

This role is a part of my clients Training Programme but with a focus on Tax before the end of the programme.

The first study aspects would be with AAT, and they would suggest that AAT is chosen rather than tax specific ATT, to provide that additional understanding of accounts that will be required for corporation tax work.

You can choose to study for either ACA-CTA or ATT-CTA at level 7.

Where will it take you?

On successful completion of the Training Programme, you will have options available to you on the Next Steps Programme to work towards manager roles including:

• Corporate Tax Manager
• Tax specialist focusing on projects
