Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Rubery area. This role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong understanding of working with students with special educational needs and who is passionate about helping every child access learning and feel supported.

Key Responsibilities

Support students with a range of additional needs, including one-to-one and small group support

*

Work closely with class teachers to implement EHCPs and support strategies

*

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing within the classroom

*

Help students build confidence, communication, and independence

*

Contribute to a calm and inclusive learning environment

Required Experience

*

Experience or solid knowledge of SEND support in a classroom or care setting

*

A nurturing, patient, and positive approach

*

Confidence in supporting pupils with varied and sometimes complex needs

*

Team player with excellent communication and adaptability
