Earlsferry House Care Home is a charming, converted period home set beside the beach in the coastal town of Elie, Fife, with stunning views across Elie Bay. The home provides Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 26 residents in a warm and welcoming environment, where its smaller, close knit setting allows you to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference every day as part of a supportive team.

Kitchen Assistant

  • £12.71 per hour
  • 24 hours per week
  • Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role OverviewAs a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment. Your role is essential in ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard, contributing to the overall wellbeing and daily experience of our residents.

You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas, support with deliveries and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times. Working closely with the wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and safely.

What We Are Looking For

  •  Positive and reliable individual with a strong work ethic
  •  Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
  •  Strong attention to detail
  •  Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
  •  Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential
