Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a respected and growing planning consultancy based in Maidstone, is seeking a driven Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across the South East, including residential, commercial, mixed-use and rural developments. You'll provide expert advice to clients, manage planning applications and appeals, and help shape the strategic direction of complex planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead planning applications, appeals and development appraisals

Provide expert planning advice to clients including developers, landowners and architects

Prepare detailed reports, planning statements and design/access statements

Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders and consultees

Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development

About You:

RTPI-accredited degree (or equivalent) and MRTPI qualified

Proven experience in town planning, ideally in a private consultancy environment

Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework

Excellent report writing and communication skills

Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
