We are currently working with an established M&E contractor who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to work on a high-profile military project based in Portsmouth for 7 months.

The role will involve overseeing all on site mechanical services installations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on site

Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements

Attend progress meetings and liaise with the project and design teams

Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to drawings and standards

Review RAMS, permits, and ensure site documentation is maintained

Support commissioning and handover processes

Requirements:

Proven track record as a Mechanical Site Manager on MEP projects

Experience working on military or public sector projects is preferred

Strong technical understanding of HVAC and building services systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills

SMSTS and CSCS essential; First Aid preferred

Security Clearance is needed, so candidates must be eligible to gain clearance
