Join a well-established and growing home improvement and building services company as a Scheduler. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient coordination of field-based fitters across the Midlands region, offering a seamless transition from temporary to permanent employment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Schedule and allocate daily jobs to a team of fitters.
- Liaise with customers to confirm appointments and job details.
- Monitor job progress and make real-time adjustments to schedules.
- Communicate effectively with fitters to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of job bookings and updates.
- Respond to urgent scheduling changes or customer requests.
- Support the operations team with general administrative duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in a scheduling, coordination, or administrative role, preferably within construction, maintenance, or field services.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems (training provided if needed).
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
