Registered Manager - Residential Child Care (EBD)

Location: Marple, StockportSalary: £55,000 + up to £12,000 annual bonus (Ofsted & occupancy related)

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential provider for a Registered Manager to lead a 6-bed EBD home rated Good by Ofsted.

This service has been operating successfully for over 30 years and benefits from a stable, experienced core team. The focus is on maintaining high standards of care, consistency in leadership, and continuing to achieve positive outcomes for young people.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up into a well-supported, established service.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring it continues to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young people.

You will:

• Lead and manage the home in line with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
• Maintain and build on the home's Good Ofsted rating
• Provide consistent leadership to an established staff team
• Ensure high-quality care planning and safeguarding practices
• Drive positive outcomes in education, wellbeing, and development
• Oversee compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Support and develop staff through supervision and performance management
• Maintain strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy ready to step up
• Strong track record with Ofsted
• Confident leadership and team development skills
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and Children's Homes Regulations
