Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to lead a high-achieving department at a progressive secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader to drive academic excellence, foster a love for languages and cultures, and ensure outstanding progress for all students across the MFL curriculum.

The Role

The Head of MFL will:

* Provide strategic leadership and management for the entire MFL department (French, Spanish, German, etc.).

* Oversee curriculum design, assessment, and the quality of teaching and learning across KS3-5.

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of highly skilled MFL teachers.

* Manage departmental resources and budget effectively.

* Promote language learning and cultural understanding throughout the school.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an exceptional MFL teacher with QTS/QTLS and proven leadership experience who:
