We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Wythenshawe. This role is ideal for someone with experience in administering medication and who has up-to-date medication training. The successful candidate will provide essential support and care to individuals, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide personalised care and support to individuals based on their specific needs.
• Administer medication accurately and responsibly, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and individual care plans.
• Monitor the health and wellbeing of individuals, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and medication administered.
• Support individuals to attend appointments and engage in community activities.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Support Worker, particularly in administering medication.
• Up-to-date medication training certification.
• Excellent understanding of care regulations and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and supportive approach.
• Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
