Looking to build your career in finance within a fast-paced, supportive team? We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Administrator to join a busy and collaborative finance function.

The Role

As part of a close-knit Accounts Payable team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day AP operations. From managing supplier relationships to processing invoices and supporting month-end, you’ll be right at the heart of the finance function.

No two days are the same—you’ll be balancing priorities, solving problems, and working closely with colleagues across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing your own section of the purchase ledger
  • Processing and verifying invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
  • Investigating and resolving supplier queries
  • Supporting weekly payment runs and direct debit processing
  • Reconciling supplier statements and company credit cards
  • Assisting with month-end tasks, including journals and reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Supporting audit preparation and ongoing finance projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes (around 1+ year experience preferred)
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with accounting or CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Basic accounting knowledge is advantageous
  • AAT (or similar) is a bonus, but not essential
  • Solid academic foundation, particularly in Maths and English
