New Chapter Tuition is looking for dedicated and experienced GCSE Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised tuition to students across Hammersmith & Fulham.

This is a rewarding opportunity for teachers, tutors, graduates, and education professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed in their GCSEs, particularly in English, Maths, and Science.

We are particularly interested in tutors with experience supporting learners with SEN needs, including SEMH, ADHD, Autism (ASC), and Dyslexia.

You will support learners to build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and achieve their academic goals through tailored, engaging sessions.

As a GCSE Tutor, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, and/or Science
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
• Support students preparing for GCSE exams
• Adapt teaching approaches to support SEN learners (SEMH, ADHD, ASC, Dyslexia)
• Identify areas for improvement and tailor sessions accordingly
• Build positive relationships to support engagement and confidence
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students
• Experience supporting SEN learners (SEMH, ADHD, ASC, Dyslexia) is highly desirable
• Strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, or Science)
• Familiarity with GCSE exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR)
• Background in education (Teacher, Tutor, Graduate, TA) desirable
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
