Axon Moore are partnering with a market leading private equity backed services business based in North Manchester. They are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager with strong management skills to join the business on a permanent basis. As the business continues to go from strength to strength this individual will play a key part in the Treasury and Bank Reconciliation department.


As the Treasury Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Treasury and Bank Reconciliation Department, ensuring the department is managed efficiently, developing the team and conducting 1 to 1 on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for accurate, timeliness and completeness of all companies’ banking processes, identifying and implementing process improvements where necessary.

– up to £50k depending on experience plus attractive benefits package

  • Complete all bank reconciliations daily
  • Complete month end bank reconciliation statements
  • Processing of all bank transfers for all companies
  • Deal with all queries in a timely manner, efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all company banking details, limits and authorisations levels are kept up to date and stored in a central location.
  • Provide day to day management of the Treasury / Bank Reconciliation Team
  • Ensure any processing issues are escalated to relevant senior management
  • Manage and lead the team
  • Perform reviews and monthly appraisals
  • Assist the team in developing processes and efficiencies
  • Own Client Liability process, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the monthly reconciliations.
  • Identify process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency and eliminate errors
  • Coordinating the smooth transition of Bank Reconciliation’s activities from other group businesses
Person specification
  • Previous Treasury / Bank reconciliation experience is essential
  • Excellent staff management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing of supervising a team of four or more
  • Process improvement experience
  • Planning and organisation skills essential
  • Enthusiastic and self-motived
  • IT literate – proficiency with Microsoft Word, Advance, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication at all levels
