In this role, you'll deliver a mix of practical and theoretical aeronautical engineering training, supporting learners through their development while gradually building your own teaching skillset with full training provided.

The ideal candidate will be someone from an aircraft fitting, maintenance or aviation engineering background, with strong hands-on experience in aircraft servicing, maintenance and fitting, who is looking to move into education and step away from the tools.

You'll be fully supported in gaining any required teaching or assessing qualifications, making this the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make a long-term career move.

The Role:
* Deliver practical and classroom-based aeronautical engineering training
* Teach across a range of programmes from Level 2 to HND
* Support and mentor learners through their development
* Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
* Act as a personal tutor, supporting student progress and wellbeing
* Contribute to course development and continuous improvement
* Support industry engagement and work placements

The Person:
* Background as an aircraft fitter, aircraft mechanic, or aviation technician
* Strong hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, servicing and fitting
* Wants to move into education and pass on industry knowledge
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Motivated, reliable, and keen to develop new skills
* Open to training and gaining teaching qualifications
