We're working with a leading compliance and safety consultancy to recruit a Fire Door Surveyor covering social housing and commercial properties across the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering fire safety excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance across a varied property portfolio.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a permanent, PAYE role

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of fire doors for compliance with current regulations and standards

*

Produce clear, accurate and detailed reports following each survey

*

Support the wider fire safety team with technical input and on-site assessments

*

Audit remedial works to ensure quality and compliance

*

Maintain and update the fire doors register with accurate data

*

Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to communicate findings and recommendations confidently

As a Fire Door Surveyor, you will have:

*

FIRAS or BM Trada qualified

*

Proven background in fire door surveying or general building surveying

*

Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*

Confident in producing professional reports and technical documentation

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the West Midlands
