Anderson Knight is recruiting an Audit & Compliance Manager on behalf of a leading financial services organisation based in Glasgow. This is a senior, influential role responsible for leading the internal audit programme while strengthening the organisation's compliance and control framework.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will deliver risk-based audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the ongoing development of audit, risk, and compliance processes as the function continues to evolve.

Location: Glasgow
Salary: £45,000-£55,000
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an integrated audit and compliance framework aligned with regulatory and industry standards.

*

Build and manage the audit universe, leading the annual risk-based audit and compliance plan.

*

Deliver the approved audit plan, conducting independent audit and compliance reviews.

*

Produce clear audit reports with practical, risk-focused recommendations.

*

Agree and monitor corrective actions with senior stakeholders, escalating key risks where required.

*

Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted advisor.

*

Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

About You:

*

Degree-qualified or professionally qualified in audit or compliance.

*

Proven internal audit and/or compliance experience, ideally within financial services.

*

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

*

Confident communicator, able to influence and challenge constructively.

*

Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative working style.
