Financial Controller, Lincolnshire

Our client, who is working with Hays exclusively, is a leading global plant breeding and seed company. Based on the outskirts of Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire but part of a larger Group they breed and market agricultural seeds for farmers and sports grass seeds for the UK market under an established brand. Due to internal changes they are now looking to recruit to the post of Financial Controller.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing financial accounts and management information for local UK and Group purposes. You will lead a small financial control team and will be expected to plan, implement, and manage policies and practices within their area of responsibility while coaching and developing the team. The role will be wide ranging and include the preparation of management and statutory accounts, cash management, budgeting and forecasting and auditor liaison.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be professionally qualified (ACCA, ACA, ICAS, CIMA) with strong analytical skills and extensive accounting experience and have the ability to work individually or as part of a team. Previous experience of ERP systems implementations, especially SAP will also be advantageous.
