Senior Android Developer - (Android, EMV kernel, Development, Kotlin, SOLID Design, RESTful, SDK, CI/CD, Applications) - Contract - Home Based

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Senior Android Developer on initially a 6 month contract basis for a global business based in the UK with offices across Europe and the Far East.

All candidates must have hands on experience of working within EMV kernel

Location: Home Based

Day Rate: Up to £450 per day D.O.E

Skills/Requirements for the Senior Android Developer:

* Extensive Android Development experience

* EMV kernel experience, in terms of working with terminals

* Strong Kotlin programming

* Understanding of SOLID Design practices

* Android SDK

* Ability to work individually and proactively

Start date is ASAP for the Senior Android Developer

The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for:

* Running and supporting the businesses applications on the Android platform

* Providing high level feature enhancements in a timely manner

* Designing and implementing new software feature

* Owning the code and ensuring its stability, performance, readability and maintainability for new staff joining the team

* Building/creating new high quality features and products

* Working with business stakeholders to maintain a high quality product

* Working with other areas of the tech teams to support the creation and/or release of new features/designs including the QA and Back end teams
