Supply Chain Operative - Stores
Dartford
£12.80 per hour (morning shift) | £13.14 per hour (afternoon shift)

Premier Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading engineering company based in Dartford to recruit a Supply Chain Operative. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity to join a well-established organisation, working within a busy stores environment supporting production and stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenishing production bins in line with FIFO guidelines
• Refilling, booking in stock and clearing metalwork trolleys
• Kitting jobs in advance and reporting shortages
• Preparing and delivering customer orders to the warehouse
• Receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders
• Organising and storing stock correctly
• Supporting stock checks and resolving discrepancies
• Issuing consignment stock as required
• Maintaining a clean and organised stores environment
• Managing stores queries and recording component issues
• Supporting general day-to-day departmental duties

Skills & Experience Required:

• Positive and proactive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and numeracy skills
• Computer literate
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday working on a weekly rota:

• Shift 1: 06.00 to 14.30
• Shift 2: 14.00 to 22.00
