Are you a technically savvy Field Service Engineer and problem solver with experience in the Highway and Traffic sectors? If so, the Field Service Engineer role Covering North London, Bedford, Berkshire & Birmingham areas could be the perfect opportunity for you!
 
Why This Field Service Engineer Role?
As part of a dynamic operations team, you'll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and commissioning advanced technology across multiple sectors, including highways, local authorities, and private contracts. You'll have the autonomy to manage your work from a home base while collaborating with a forward-thinking team that values efficiency, precision, and innovation.
 
Your Role

Install, maintain, and commission traffic measurement equipment, signalling systems, and specialist infrastructure solutions.
Troubleshoot faults, problem-solve technical issues, and ensure high-performance service delivery.
Work independently while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
Operate power tools, generators, and other specialist equipment with precision and care.
Travel within the UK, occasionally overseas, to support project implementations. 
The Essential Things We're Looking For

A Full UK driving licence.
Previous Field Service Engineer role experience.
Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with PC-based technologies.
A logical mindset with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
CSCS, SWQR Operative, or Supervisor qualifications.
Customer-focused communication skills, ensuring top-tier service. 
Desirables

Previous experience working on Highways or Traffic Control Equipment.
Holder of Electrical qualifications such as: ECS card, 17th or 18th edition wiring regs.
Highways Electrical Certification or HERS portfolio evidence.
