Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Location: Covering Aberdeenshire Council (schools, town halls, leisure centres, domestic housing)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management provider, for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their team working across Aberdeenshire Council properties. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced electrician who is looking for a secure, long-term position within a supportive and well-established engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a variety of council-operated buildings, including schools, town halls, leisure centres, and domestic properties.

* Carry out fault finding, repairs, and installations as required.

* Participate in a 1-in-8 callout rota, with standby payments and minimum hours paid when called out.

* Ensure all work is delivered in line with current electrical regulations and safety standards.

* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships on site.

Requirements

* Fully qualified Electrician (18th Edition essential).

* Testing and inspection experience is essential, particularly within domestic settings.

* Experience in a similar mobile maintenance or facilities management role.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team.
