Job Title: CNC Setter
Pay: £16.50-£20.00 per hour (PAYE), £22-£26 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months with likely extension
Location: Wickford
Shifts:

Early: 6:00am-2:15pm
Middle: 2:00pm-10:15pm
Night: 10:00pm-6:15amWe are looking for an experienced CNC Setter to join a busy engineering team on a 3‑month contract, with strong potential to extend.

Key Duties
Setting and running CNC machines
Loading CNC programs and making minor modifications
Working from engineering drawings
Preparing tools and checking materials
Running 1st offs and carrying out basic inspections
Daily machine checks and preventative maintenance
Deburring components and completing job sheetsRequirements

CNC knowledge (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain)
Good understanding of tools, materials, and machinery
Strong communication and teamwork skillsDesirable

Experience in automation, automotive, aerospace, pneumatics, inspection, or similar environments
