A specialist secondary school in Barry is seeking Teaching Assistants to support students aged 10-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), autism, and other additional learning needs.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support to students in both classroom and 1:1 settings. You'll help create a positive, structured environment where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support learning activities across a range of subjects

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN/SEMH

* Help manage behaviour positively and consistently

* Build strong, trusting relationships with students

* Assist with planning, resources, and classroom organisation
