CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator

Our client are a well-established precision engineering company in Luton, renowned for producing high-spec components for a number of industries.

Role Summary

This is a hands-on CNC Turning role where you'll take ownership of programming, setting, and operating fanuc controlled Mayano machines. You'll be producing complex, tight-tolerance parts from various materials, playing a vital role in delivering precision-crafted components to demanding industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating sub spindle multi-axis lathes using Fanuc controls

• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and CAD models

• Carrying out first-offs, in-process inspections, and ensuring dimensional accuracy

• Selecting tooling and fixtures to optimise machine efficiency

• Collaborating with production and quality teams to meet delivery targets Required Experience

• Solid background as a CNC Turner

• Proficient with fanuc programming

• Miyano machine experience an advantage

• Strong understanding of machining principles and geometric tolerancing

• Skilled in using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and height gauges
