About the Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school in Burnley. This role is offered through a reputable education agency, providing flexible working arrangements and the potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

Assist in the preparation and organisation of resources and learning materials.

Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.

Encourage children's development across all areas: social, emotional, physical, and cognitive.

Engage with children through play-based learning and structured activities.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children in an EYFS setting.

A valid Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.

A genuine passion for working with young children.

A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

References covering the last two years of work or education.
