Area Field Manager Tier 2 - South West

We require a Full Time Area Field Manager Tier 1 (AFM) based in South West. The AFM will be responsible for effective service delivery within the area by ensuring a motivated, well trained and supported group of self-employed individuals to provide milk recording services to customers. The AFM will work with the Customer Account Manager (CAM), providing effective cooperation and co-ordination of resource between the two roles which will ensure high quality service and continued business development in the area. Team working will be fundamental for the continued success of the area. This role will be home based.

Essential Key Skills:

- A graduate, HND or equivalent in agriculture or relevant commercial experience
- Practical farming experience and knowledge of the dairy industry
- Good time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapting to new situations
- Self-motivated with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Valid current driving license
- Ability to lead a team and ensure motivation and engagement
- Ability to work effectively within a team and add value
- Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in work produced
- Fully PC literate
- To be located within the area

The role responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the delivery and quality of service provided to herds within the region
- To ensure the retention of customers
- To effectively manage the self-employed milk recorders and samplers on a day to day basis
- To undertake recruitment and training of self-employed Individuals
- To be responsible for data quality in the area
- To work closely with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) to ensure high quality service and continued business development
- To undertake the promotion of new services as they are developed in the business
- To assist in additional projects as and when required
- To maintain accurate and timely records on the Customer Relations System
- To ensure that new herds are commenced in a timely manner
- To undertake extensive driving on a daily basis
