Zachary Daniels are looking for a number of Regional Manager to develop accounts across the UK, managing a team of Senior Account Managers who engage with dealerships and bodyshops across the Country. Candidates will be able to Demonstrable fieldbased business development, account management experience, ideally within the automotive industry, and a history of managing and developing successful teams.



A basic salary of £55,000 and a realistic OTE of around £75k will be available for the right candidate.



Our client is looking Regional Managers in all Regions in the UK so if you have a clean driving licence and thrive on developing people and growing business across a wide area, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.



Main Purpose of role: To manage a team of Senior Account Managers to ensure delivery against business objectives and targets

- Effectively lead, manage, coach, motivate and inspire a team of Senior Account Managers
- to aid account development and achieve/exceed individual target contribution towards team targets and business goals
- Contiounsly monitor performance of all groups/accounts, identify trends and forecast performance against sales targets proactively interrogate underperformance and agree/implement remedial action with Senior Account Managers to ensure the opportunity is maximised against revenue targets
- Forge and develop strong relationships with senior contacts and other key stakeholders up to board level within all groups/accounts
- Ensure each group/account has a clearly defined Account Plan and that the plan is cascaded and executed by the account management team within predefined timeframes
- Perform monthly one to one objective meetings and performance review meetings with each direct report, highlighting strengths and weaknesses, providing coaching and support whilst identifying and setting monthly objectives and any remedial action as required
- Demonstrate clear understanding and buyin to the Companys goal and purpose in order to continually enhance the sales proposition
- Ensure training provided to dealership staff by Account Managers is managed and monitored by Senior Account Managers
- Identify new sales channels and routes to market and promote new service offerings to the target sectors
- Research, identify, target and deliver new business
- Demonstrate an up to date knowledge of the industry, providing monthly updates to company Directors on news, trends, market dynamics and demographics.


The Ideal Candidate Will be Able to:

- Demonstrable fieldbased business development, account management experience at Manager level, ideally within the automotive industry


- Demonstrable track record of sales results showing growth and a high level of account retention
- Demonstrable track record of successfully managing the variance of performance against targets and effectively driving and constantly improving performance
- Effective time management ensuring sufficient time spent (each week/on a regular basis) with direct reports, sales team members, and stakeholders
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in handling performance issues including, absence management, disciplinaries and capabilities
- Confident and assertive leader, able to manage through a team and resolve conflict
- Clear, concise and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Effective listening skills, perceptive with a developed level of emotional intelligence and awareness
- Be able to demonstrate coaching and mentoring skills managing through others
- Understanding of marketing and the ability to work within financial budgets
- A highly motivated and passionate team player who leads by example
- Ability to look at the bigger picture and understand the impact a course of action can have both in the short term and long term
- Ability to work and deliver against targets when under pressure
- Willingness to travel Required to have a regular head office presence, high level of visibility/availability required for interacting with key internal stakeholders to ensure close and effective monitoring of sales performance measurements
