Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and professional Bodyshop Vehicle Painter to join their skilled team.
The Role
As a Vehicle Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes, ensuring every vehicle meets both manufacturer and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and ready for paint
- Mix and match paint colours using manufacturer codes and computerised systems
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using spray guns in a spray booth environment
- Carry out paint blending techniques for seamless repairs
- Inspect completed work to ensure a flawless finish, free from defects
- Perform flatting, polishing, and finishing as required
- Maintain spray equipment and ensure a clean, organised workspace
- Adhere to manufacturer repair methods and company quality standards
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have proven experience as a Vehicle Painter / Paint Sprayer within a Bodyshop
- Possess strong knowledge of automotive paint systems and application techniques
- Be skilled in colour matching and paint mixing systems
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
