Here might be a nice role for you if you live in or are local to Leamington Spa and are looking for a role close to home.

As the office is in the centre of town, it will be easy to fill your lunch breaks on the three days you're not working from home.

This business is traditional, and its beautiful Regency office reflects it. Inside, it's modern and calm. It might be in a prime location in town, but there will be a free on-site parking space for you.

Relationships with colleagues and feeling valued ensure people stay working for this company for years. As a way of saying thank you, everyone finishes at 1:00 pm on a Friday during the summer. There are 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and you'll need to save a few for when the office shuts for Christmas. The business also gets together for social events.

Supporting three partners will ensure a busy and varied day, with numerous tax-related administrative tasks to carry out and so many clients to liaise with on their behalf.

Organised will be your middle name, and you'll get great satisfaction from providing thorough and reliable administrative support. As much as you'll enjoy ticking off your to-do list, you'll equally enjoy tackling those reactive tasks that crop up.

Purpose of the role

To provide administrative support to ensure the tax department runs smoothly and clients receive an efficient and professional service.

What will you be doing

* Preparing and formatting documents, reports, and correspondence relating to clients' tax.

* Maintaining and updating client records.

* Managing client communication via emails, letters, and phone calls.

* Sending engagement letters to new clients.

* Running checks such as money laundering.

* Scheduling meetings and appointments for the tax team.

* Assisting in gathering client information and documentation for their tax filings.

The must-haves:

* Recent experience in a secretarial or administrative role.

* Good computer skills - especially in Word and Outlook.

Working hours

36.5 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 to 5:00, Friday 8:30 to 4:30, with one hour for lunch. There may be some flexibility with these start and finish times, and also the potential for slightly reduced hours for the right candidate.
