The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering creative and effective lessons to pupils in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and preference. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning, while fostering a positive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school (KS1 or KS2)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
