Commissioning Engineer

We are currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer with expertise in CCTV and Access Control Systems (ACS), including familiarity with systems such as Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Honeywell, and Gallagher. This role is primarily focused on Central London construction projects, making it a pivotal position within our operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Commission and configure various security systems including CCTV and ACS across multiple projects in Central London and the South East.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure installations meet design specifications and operational standards.
• Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of security systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and configuration of security systems.
• Document commissioning processes and provide detailed reports on system status, including any issues encountered and solutions implemented.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all commissioning activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in the security systems industry, particularly with CCTV and ACS.
• Proficient in handling and configuring security technologies such as Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Honeywell, and Gallagher.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple commissioning projects simultaneously.
