Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic technical team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting commercial sales efforts by developing and implementing high-precision CAD designs, and prototyping solutions that enhance turnaround times and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with project managers, sales, and production teams to engineer custom tooling and masking fixtures that meet strict industry standards. You'll be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously, interpret complex client specifications, and ensure seamless integration of new designs into production.

You will also contribute to the company's rapid prototyping initiatives using an in-house 3D printing lab. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for precision engineering and innovation.

Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.

* Proficient in 3D CAD design (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).

* Understanding of technical drawings and engineering specifications.

* Familiarity with 3D scanning and additive manufacturing technologies.

* Apprentice trained, HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
