Edge Staffing is recruiting an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3+ years' PQE) to join a growing firm in Bridport. Hybrid working may be considered.

The role involves managing a varied private client caseload including Wills, LPAs, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, and IHT planning, covering high-value and high-volume work. Secretarial support is provided.

Salary: £45,000-£75,000

Key Responsibilities

* Run private client matters independently from instruction to completion

* Advise clients on Wills, LPAs, Probate, Trusts, and tax planning

* Draft Wills, trust documents, and related paperwork

* Administer complex and taxable estates

* Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC, and professional advisers

* Ensure compliance, accurate time recording, and billing

* Support department growth and supervise juniors where appropriate

Requirements

* 3+ years' PQE in private client work

* Strong technical knowledge across core private client areas

* Excellent drafting, organization, and client-care skills

* Able to work independently and collaboratively

* Supervisory experience beneficial but not essential

* Additional duties may be required
