I am currently recruiting for an Heating and Electrical company, who require an electrician based in the Bristol area, 

Salary is up to 50K for the right candidcate.

Job Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Electrician to join our team, carrying out a variety of electrical duties both in domestic and commercial markets. You will ensure every installation meets industry compliance, electrical regulations whilst meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. 

You will be:

• Working in collaboration with the heating engineers on traditional (Combination, ‘Y’ and ‘S’ plan boiler controls) and the latest renewable solutions in heating systems. 
• Installing domestic electrical vehicle charging points, Solar PV, battery storage
• Carrying out electrical refurbishment works including; rewiring, upgrading lighting systems, socket’s etc
• Trace, diagnose and rectify faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment
• Carrying out Periodic, Testing and Inspecting
• Ensuring electrical certificates are submitted accurately and on time post installation using an ipad
• Demonstrating the standards and ways of working to keep our customers and your colleagues safe
• Continually developing yourself technically and maintaining your industry and onsite knowledge to keep health, safety and compliance at the top of your priorities

Essential qualifications and experience:

• City and Guild 2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent (desirable) 
• City & Guilds 18th Edition
• Qualified with NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Strong Customer Focus ensuring we always do the right thing for the customer
• Good IT Skills – you will be using an iPad for completing certification and jobs
• Well presented, with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity.
• Good communicator, with an ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
• UK driving licence

The offer:

You will be required to work 40 hours per week (basic) and report directly to the Installation Manager
