Elevation Recruitment Group is working with an Automotive manufacturer based in Sherburn to recruit a Product Delivery Engineer. 

The role falls under the R&D department and would suit a Mechanical Engineer with CAD experience.

The Product Delivery Engineer will concentrate on the creation of 3D CAD data to support programme timing and ensure components meet quality targets for fit and finish, focusing on Cost, Quality and Timing against business requirements. 

The duties of the Product Delivery Engineer will include:

Support of supplier base ensuring regular meetings and the issuing of relative minutes
Participation in purchasing matched pairs to ensure component delivery
3D CAD geometry against programme timing
Support the resolution of complex engineering issues
Support Problem Definition and Root Cause Analysis through Interim and Permanent Corrective Action
Help create timing plans and the management of their introduction to agreed timelines with a cross functional team
Maintain and update documentation to ensure accurate records are kept
Responsibility for the creation of clash free CAD geometry ensuring designs meet all Manufacturing & Service requirements
Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to Design Standards
Use Quality History Reviews and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analyses in new design system
We are keen to speak with Product Delivery Engineers / Mechanical Engineers

Degree qualified 
CAD system knowledge, Solidworks/Catia or similar
Ideally, have an automotive or similar background
Experience of using plastics and metals.
Experience of new product development within the automotive industry for worldwide market requirements
An ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and changing priorities
