Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Part-time Nursery Teacher (Thursday and Friday) to work in a three-form entry, good school, in Haringey. The suitable candidate will be working with a great team of Early Years practitioners and the planning and report writing will be shared. The Part Time Nursery Teacher will ideally have experience with the new EYFS framework and have a strong knowledge of how to implement this effectively. The children have been described as a lively bunch who require an enthusiastic and friendly Nursery Teacher to help them thrive! The role will run until the end of the academic year, but is likely to result in a permanent contract for the right candidate. This would be a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Nursery Teacher who is wishing to reduce their working hours to a part-time basis. Alternatively, would be ideal for a Nursery Teacher who wishes to have the flexibility of supply and two consistent days at the same school for the academic year.
The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and we have received extremely positive feedback from staff who have worked there before. More specifically, positive feedback is usually related to the team of staff who work within the school as well as the fabulous resources available at the school to ensure a fruitful and stimulating education. Music, Drama and Sports are heavily encouraged at the school, and the Nursery pupils regularly engage in outdoor and inquiry based learning. The use of technology is heavily encouraged to help with student learning and development. Each classroom has large windows, lots of space and colourful walls, all contributing to a positive and uplifting environment. There are many opportunities to progress within the school with the regular CPD courses, whereby the leadership wish to better each member of staff which will ultimately transfer onto the pupils' education.
