• Location: Godalming
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (approx. 3 months)

• Pay Rate: £150 – £187 per day (Umbrella)

We are seeking an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join a finance team for approximately three months. This hands-on role is based at the head office, supporting a busy and complex finance function. The successful candidate will need to go through an enhanced DBS screening for this role.

• Manage billing and sales ledger in a high-volume, complex environment.
• Handle deferred and accrued income recognition.
• Support credit control activities.
• Perform month-end tasks, including calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments, posting of payroll journals (payroll is run separately), and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with purchase ledger tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate double-entry bookkeeping including trial balance.

• Proven experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, trial balance, complex billing, deferred and accrued revenue, accruals and prepayments, and payroll journals.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be a driver due to office location and required off-site visits.
