About the Role

We are recruiting an Intruder Alarm Engineer and Access Control Engineer to cover Cambridgeshire. You will install, service, and maintain intruder alarms, access control systems, fire alarms, and CCTV across commercial and residential sites. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for engineers who enjoy problem-solving and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and maintain intruder alarms, access control systems, fire alarms, and CCTV.
• Respond to routine maintenance and emergency call-outs.
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide clear guidance and support to clients on system use.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Intruder Alarm Engineer and Access Control Engineer.
• Competent with fire alarms, door access, and CCTV systems.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving license.
• Relevant certifications (ECS card, IPAF, or equivalent) are a plus but not essential.

Salary: £32,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
