Maths Teacher

We are seeking a Maths Teacher for ongoing cover, starting as soon as possible. This role involves full teaching responsibilities in a dynamic educational environment. If you are passionate about mathematics and eager to inspire young minds, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and behavioural standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
• Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at a secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Maths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards teaching.
