The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Technician to join our team. You will work closely with our structural engineers to produce accurate technical drawings and models for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities of this Structural Technician role:

• Produce structural drawings and details using AutoCAD (and/or Revit where applicable)

• Assist engineers in developing structural design solutions

• Prepare general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, and structural layouts

• Coordinate drawings with architects and other consultants

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements

• Maintain drawing registers and document control where required

Requirements of this Structural Technician role:

• Experience working as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is advantageous)

• Good understanding of structural detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber

• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and calculations

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable

• HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)

• Experience on UK building projects and familiarity with UK standards
